Ametrine is a naturally occurring combination of amethyst and yellow iron colored Quartz, known as ferruginous Quartz. Natural Ametrine comes from Bolivia and has a beautiful pinwheel crystal form. It can be man-made by heat-treating certain sections of an Amethyst.
